If you’ve mastered the material in our Intro to Swing classes, you can continue your swing education with Lindy Hop Essentials. Designed to prepare you for the social dance floor, LHE takes the patterns and footwork you learned in Swing 1 and 2 and combines them in new & interesting ways.
Swing 4 focuses on social dancing – taking the skills you have and applying them to the social floor. Topics covered include dance floor etiquette, connection & partnering, how to start & end a dance, connecting moves smoothly, and ways to recover when something goes wrong unexpectedly.
In Swing 4, we require all students to rotate partners. For information on the reasoning behind rotating in class, see our Dance Lessons 101 blurb.
