SUMMARY:Swing 2 - Swinging Out
DESCRIPTION:\n\nWe review the material from Swing 1\, introduce the 6-count
basic and Charleston: a predecessor to Lindy hop\, the Charleston survive
s as a versatile figure that has many variations. We’ll practice the ste
p\, as well as mix it in with the patterns you’ve already learned\, and
spend lots of time practicing both the 8-count and 6-count basic steps (bo
th widely and indiscriminately used by Lindy hoppers in their social danci
ng). We add patterns that give you a greater vocabulary of moves for your
social dancing\, as well as a deeper understanding of how the partnership
works.\n\n\n\nStudents are asked to rotate partners in this class. For inf
ormation about the reasoning behind rotating partners in class\, please se
e our Dance Lessons 101 blurb.\n\n\n\n\n\nDiscounts\n\n If you are regist
ering for using a prepaid Groupon or LivingSocial Coupon\, please enter th
e coupon code: Groupon or LS. Do not enter the number from your voucher -
we will check these at the first class.\n If you are registering two peop
le without a prepaid voucher\, please enter the coupon code: 2people.\n
If you are registering for Swing 1 &amp\; Swing 2 without a prepaid vo
ucher\, you will need to submit separate registrations\, using the coupon
 code: 2classes for each registration.\n Repeat: 2ndtime\n\n
