SUMMARY:Solo Jazz & Movement
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\nSolo Jazz &amp\; Movement: body conscious movement\; mu
sical awareness and connection\; basic Solo Jazz steps\; and choreographie
s.\n\nThis series will be focussed on the Carib Shim Sham\, created by Re
my Kouakou Kouame\, a Caribbean-French Jazz and Swing dancer. You can see
the routine here.\n\nThe choreography is fairly simple\, which gives Eilee
n the opportunity in this series to explore changing movements to fit the
music\, as well as making connections between standard jazz moves\, Caribb
ean shim sham movements\, and West African moves and movements.\n\nThis wi
ll be a great series for all levels of dancers\, as you bring to the class
your openness to challenge yourself with movement and choreography.\n\n\n
 \n\nRCP waiver\n\n
