Intermediate C – Versatility:
Dive into a wider range of tempos and musical styles, adjacent to Swing Jazz, and improve your responsiveness to the full variety of music played in Swing settings.
We’ll explore different dances, style and rhythm variations in your moves, and work on the skills to enjoy the wide range of songs and connection styles you encounter at Swing events.
This series features a variety of instructors to highlight a range of skills and styles of dance: Uptempo Lindy hop, Partner 20s Charleston, Fox Trot, “Ballrooming” (walking styles of dancing to Swing music), and dance styles inspired by Swing-adjacent partner dances to Latin and Soul music. Featuring Doug Barber, Edina Shaw, Eric Shaw, Barney Lee, Lisa Marks, and Lucy Falkner as instructors.
