Learn to swing dance in a weekend – if you’ve never danced before, or maybe tried it out but never felt like you quite got it, this weekend’s beginner classes are for you!
Get great instruction in a condensed intensive format, individual coaching between classes, plus two evenings of music & dancing! Practice, meet other dancers, and watch the dancers with many years of experience for inspiration!
Saturday September 3 through Monday September 5 at the Russian Hall in Strathcona, 600 Campbell Avenue
Includes:
Three classes from 11:00 to 3:30pm on Saturday, Sunday, & Monday, plus coaching between classes.
Saturday & Sunday night Swing dance socials (live band Saturday night), plus an afternoon casual social dance following last class on Monday.
A total of 9 classes (plus coaching) and 3 social dances: this weekend will get you solidly swinging and feeling confident on the dance floor. Price $140 (subsidized spots available for low income dancers).
