It’s an extra band night this month for two extra special reasons…
1. It’s Chazz Young’s 91st birthday! Happy birthday to an inspirational Jazz and Tap dancer, one of Norma Miller’s Jazzmen, and Frankie Manning’s son.
2. To celebrate (and give a break for the night to) our wonderful volunteers! If you are a regular volunteer at Rhythm City Strut, this night is for you to attend at no charge and without taking a volunteer shift. Just come as our guest and enjoy the night!
Evening Schedule
- 8:30pm to 9pm: Chazz Young-inspired footwork variations drop-in lesson: for experienced Lindy hoppers (i.e., not a beginner lesson)
- 9pm to 11:30pm: Bonnie Northgraves Hot Five (plus DJ Enda)
- St Michael’s Hall
- $18 online / $25 at the door
