Frankie Manning (1914-2009) danced at the Savoy Ballroom in Harlem in the 1930s and 40s, choreographed some of our most cherished Lindy hop and Jazz captured on film, and travelled, taught, and shared his stories around the world right up until he died just shy of his 95th birthday celebrations in New York in 2009.
Celebrate Frankie’s 103rd birthday and enjoy the mad swinging skills of incredible local musicians this May Band Night!
