Learn to swing dance in a weekend – if you’ve never danced before, or maybe tried it out but never felt like you quite got it, a weekend intensive may be for you!
Get started in the wonderful world of swing dancing! If you’ve always wanted to try but were afraid you’d have two left feet, this is the class for you. Learn to dance in a friendly, supportive environment. Meet new people, get moving, improve your co-ordination, and have a lot of fun!
If you’ve mastered the material in our Intro to Swing classes, you can continue your swing education with Lindy Hop Essentials. LHE expands on the material in the ITS program, exploring transitions and partner technique, improving your dancing at higher tempos, and increasing your confidence on the social dance floor!
Solo Jazz is an essential element of Lindy hop and its history. There are vintage routines Swing dancers around the world know and enjoy dancing together, and there are fun, musical, and dynamic ways of incorporating your Solo Jazz into your partner dancing!
A, B, C & D may be taken in any order.
Intermediate classes expand on the fundamentals of the ITS & LHE programs, getting into more complex techniques of partner and rhythm skills, and cover diverse patterns and figures.
A, B, C & D may be taken in any order: each of the three Intermediate series covers different material to give you the technique, steps, moves, and confidence you need to step boldly onto the social dance floor with any partner.
